Anti-blue stain process
When cutting with traditional ordinary knives, tannin reacts with the iron in the knife at high temperature to generate blue-black tannin iron, which pollutes the wood, commonly known as "blue stain". The traditional practice is to fumigate the wood with oxalic acid before cutting wood with high tannin content such as oak, which is time-consuming and laborious. Our knives are made of A8 tool alloy steel, and the stainless steel knife body is made of stainless steel, avoiding the high cost of tool alloy steel for the entire knife. Since the tool steel blade and the stainless steel knife body are made of materials that do not react with tannin, oak and other wood can be cut directly, completely eliminating the traditional fumigation step.
