The slitting blade is mainly used for the slitting and cross-cutting of paper, tape, magnetic tape, film, gold, silver, copper, aluminum, titanium alloy foil and other items. The cutting of these high-grade metal foils requires high precision, no burrs, no indentation, so the difficulty of cutting is relatively high, so the precision requirements for longitudinal cutting and cross cutting tools are high, the cutting resistance is small, and the wear resistance is small. Large, sharp and longer edge.

The circular slitting knife requires the blade to have low cutting resistance and high wear resistance. In short, it must be sharp enough. Due to the requirements of product accuracy, the blade must reach micron-level accuracy.

Bottom slitting knives are available Single Sided and Double Sided both in one piece or two halves (to enable quick changes to take place) or as Multi Knife Blocks for use with Top Dished Slitter Knives  in a variety of materials to suit each particular application.
