LCUT's proprietary CNC sharpening technology allows for precision sharpening of blades to a razor-like edge in a pointed-tip configuration, enhancing versatility and cutting performance. Pointed-tip blades are ideal for applications that require a sharp point to initiate a cut in tough materials, minimal penetration force, and a specific slit length, such as piercing a rubber diaphragm. Although pointed-tip blades are slightly more expensive than simple straight-edge blades, the added benefits often justify the marginal cost increase.
